Projects Overview

DevelopSpace’s mission is to support open source space development projects. These can include projects funded through our grants program along with other space community projects whether or not they receive funding via DevelopSpace.

We recently selected 14 projects for funding in our initial grants round. You can read more about the projects in the announcement. We also offer a variety of non-monetary support for projects, both new and ongoing. Examples could include data storage and computing resources, technical and scientific review and advice, and assistance with broader fundraising and project administration activities.

DevelopSpace is currently in the formulation stages of an open source space reference library, covering various aspects of the science and engineering involved in developing space, and building upon our prior work at wiki.developspace.net. The intent is to provide materials to the overall space development community to help accelerate a wide variety of efforts.
